scared of preeclampsia. protein in urine and hbp but controlled with meds. hoping its just showing…

How did things turn out for you? I'm 28 weeks, they considered my preeclampsia severe and I'm now stuck in a hospital until I deliver. Hopefully you're not as bad off.. I have 6 weeks to be in a hospital 2 hours away from my son with no chance of leaving.

@kimberlyyyy, my bp is still under control with the meds ive been taking since the first weeks of pregnancy.

youve got to stay there till you deliver?? omg girl then its better that you do. eventhough you cant see your son its best for all three of you to stay and make sure your little bun is ok. im so sorry you guys are going thru this but know you both are getting the best care.

Yeah I'm staying here until delivery. They're hoping I make it to 34 weeks, I'm not sure how that will go because we're having other slight concerns that are turning into one big ball of who-knows-wtf-is-happening stuff. It's just me here, my fiancé and son are at home but they'll be visiting me when they can make the drive at least! I'm not on any meds right now which is nice but I'm on constant fetal monitoring because baby has heart beat decelerations. It's a lot of 💩

man thats soooo much to be dealing with. is your bp still high or has it gone down now?? my dr said she hopes i can carry the baby another month which would mean by the 34 week and that baby would have a better chance or healthier im assuming. im also diabetic and take alot of insulin so dr always scares ume cuz they say baby could die. i know God is with the both of us and our babies its just hard to stay positive.

My blood pressure has leveled out. Hasn't been actively high since Wednesday. I've had a few random higher readings but they're mostly concerned that the baby's heart beat keeps decelerating. And it seems to happen when I have Braxton hicks.

@kimberlyyyy, i wonder why that is. did they say why its happening during braxton hicks? that sounds scary. im glad your not just waiting it out at home.

did you have any other symptoms of preeclamsia aside from the high bp?
