It all depends on who you ask. My first child was delivered via c-section. I had a horrible experience due to lack of choices and impatient obgyn. My c-section was not medically necessary. I've found Dr willing to do a vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean).
It all depends. It's different for everyone. It's major abdominal surgery which I think a lot of people forget. My first c-section was traumatizing but I had a great recovery. I'm having my second c-section on Tuesday and I'm hoping it goes better since it will be scheduled and not an emergency.
