I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant, I was fairly active before I found out I was expecting, but once I found out I was pregnant(5 weeks) I stopped working out, would it be ok to continue to slowly start working out again?

You can do more than 30 mins if you feel ok. I still exercise like an hour a day 5 times a week .. Listen to your body though.

My doctors said to it's okay to continue anything you did before pregnancy.. My hubby and I have always been into weight lifting and now I'm 34 weeks and I haven't changed my workouts at all. You just need to listen to your body and stay hydrated. I take longer breaks between sets but still get it done at least 4x per week. The only thing I've dropped is running because of balance. I walk instead.

You can do what you've been doing, although I stopped doing yoga until I hit the 16 week mark. The risk of miscarriage is higher in the first trimester since the baby is still implanting, but do what feels good for your body.

I did the same. I was too exhausted to do anything....if I would do a workout I would be a zombie for the rest of the day...so I haven't even tried for like a week or two :( I miss it and I know it's good for baby so I am going to incorporate some workouts again. Hopefully they don't make me dead tired last last week :/

I hear it's ok to do what your body can handle. Do not push your body too much.

Just wait and finish ur first trimester .. It's depend how u feel and how is ur pregnancy doing .. U can workout but u have to know which is safe for u and ur baby to do and which no .. Just go to google and search how u can work out while ur pregnant .. I like to take a break in my pregnancy from gym ..

I waited until 2nd trimester bc I was too afraid of complications to developing baby (you never know) and most of all I was so nauseous and tired there was no way I could do it! After I got my energy back, I hit the gym again (orangetheory) and am in better shape than I was before pregnancy! Endurance wise :) you'll get back to it no problem once you start feeling better. You just have to dive right back into it.
