no. it didn't for me. they give you either two meds. one med goes in you or you get a IV line. I got contractions right away.

I was induced because my water broke but my labor didn't start and I assume that it hurt just the same as going into labor naturally

I went into labor naturally but my doctor have me pitocin to speed up my labour. Once they have that to me the contractions were non stop and I started having back labour. I ended up getting the epi because I was in so much pain

i was induced at 39 weeks due to basically being in labor for 18 days. when i got there they started me on pitocin and recall it didn't hurt me at all contractions just got stronger. i walked in at 6am they started everything about 630am and she was out the same day at 1137am so it went fast

it feels the same as going into labor naturally
