can someone tell me what contractions feel like? with my first I was induced after my water broke and slept through my entire labor so idk what to expect

Like an elephant stepping on my back. I couldn't breathe basically.
mines felt like period cramps but each contraction felt worst and worst...
I'm sorry not like period cramps worse then that it feels like something is trying to escape from the inside which is the baby lol but it's really painful
Wish I could help. I didn't feel any of my contractions hardly. I didn't even know I was in labor, my ob sent me to L&d and by time I got there they gave me the epidural at 4 and I slept until it was time to push.
they gave me meds through my iv and those knocked me out lol @mamalamadingdong
