why can't you eat before pitocin??

I did but its because its considered active labor since it makes contractions stronger

They dont let you eat once you are in labor normally incase you need a c-section less chance of complications they say

I had a large grinder while on the pit i was fine haha but i know it doesnt sound like much but you can have jello juice gingerale popcicles

Ask you may be able to have a smoothie atleast thats somewhat filling

You're not allowed to eat because if you need a c section you could vomit and that would be bad.

They only don't want to clean up if you vomit. I snuck food while in labor. You can eat, but you may throw up later. That's it.

you will probably throw it up anyways. after 32 hours of not eating in labor I kept throwing up it was awful

This is my biggest fear with a hospital birth... They starve you! Such unecessary torture!!
