So my estament in cost a month for my son came out to $171 a month give or take. That's if I breastfeed the whole time.
Diapers $56
Wipies $80
Shampoo $10
Rash med $6-8
So how far am I off.....
Honestly I can't name everything! Straight out the jar...You can use it as a hair mask, body lotion, chap stick, lube for sexual intercourse...it's actually very good for you and him both when used as lube. Lol and if you put a little sugar in some you can use it as sugar scrub to exfoliate your skin while in the bath. Um....it heals acne...so put a little bit on your face daily. It is antibacterial and kills bacteria. That's always good too! 😍 I can keep going!!!!!!
and what all can I use it for? @uhmandaxconrad92
what does the coconut oil look like and how much for it? @uhmandaxconrad92
You definitely won't spend 80 a month on wipes. And shampoo, I've used the same bottle for 2 months now and still have a lot in it. Same with rash cream, you won't be buying that every month either.
a bottles of shampoo has last my baby 6 months.... and still has some maybe for another month. I haven't even used half a bottle of rash cream.
I think you can get like 10 packages at Costco for about $25 and you'll use maybe two in a month. I'm trying to think back to my newborn usage... And ditto on not using up creams unless your kid has constant rashes. some do, some never do. @teamjayce2015
start buying diapers and wipes now, use coupons and salets to tour advantage. rash cream, will last a few months. you only need it when the baby has a rash, if the baby even gets a rash. you're gunna want extra because walking around the store and you see something super cute and on sale and you just wont want to pass up the offer. i bought my daughter's first birthday present already and she is only 10 days!! lol i got it for under $10 instead of $45, so i had to buy it! and my daughter is in preemie everything, they even fit her big. so i had to buy preemie diapers and some preemie clothes, which qis hard to find and never on sale -_- lol. so just keep extra just in case. and be prepared incase breastfeeding doesnt work and baby has trouble latching. i had to get a pump and bottle for her bc she has trouble latching
@teamjayce2015 I get my wipes at sams club and a big box cost me $15 and they are Pampers wipes, the whole box lasts me like 2 months, but even a small pack from walmart which are like $2 lasts me a week😊
for a box of four packs
that's putting them at $10-$14
If you buy the big box of wipes that is like $12 and has 500+ in there, you should only need 1 a month. Mine last longer than that though. @teamjayce2015
$80 for a month sapply @annlou
$80 seems like a lot for wipes? per month? I would think more like maybe $7 unless you're buying seriously fancy wipes. The others are probably pretty close. Though you'll probably use shampoo and rash cream longer than you think per bottle, so maybe less there too.
Their is many alternatives to save money....maybe you can try cloth diapers and only use store bought diapers when you leave the house? And you can make cheap baby wipes...I'll post for you! One min!
@teamjayce2015 I got one when mine was born and I still have more than half left and my baby is almost 8 months!
how long does a tube last? @alicia91
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
OT. rant! forward facing early
ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.

My 8 month old watching the rain with our kitten. So cute I had to share :)
Organic extra virgin unrefined cold pressed is actually best for your hair, skin, and teeth. Expeller pressed refined coconut oil is better for cooking because of the lack of smell and flavor. And you should get it somewhere like a vitamin shoppe, health food store, trader joes, etc. not like Walmart or a regular grocery store.. It's not of high quality.
