She was born with a heart defect that was treated through 3 stages of open heart surgery... First was at 6 days old, and her last was at 4 years old. Well with that heart condition you require to have heart caths once every few years to adjust the blood flow. A which is nothing serious at all. Well it was time for one....so they admitted her into the hospital after a reaction to a new medication. And said they will go ahead and do the procedure when her doctor got home from vacation in 2 weeks. Well a week passed and she got sick with what they claimed was "just a common cold" I knew it was more than that so I asked for them to get a pulmunoligist (lung specialist) involved to look at her lungs at least until her doctor got back in town. Well he told me NO! That she didn't need one. Well I got mad and had some words with him for denying my request and then just dropped it because he was supposed to be the doctor and he was supposed to know what's best! Well...two days after they sedated her so that they can put a pic line (IV) in her arm! When a heart patient gets sedation they have to be ventilated because their oxygen drops to low to breath on their own. Well Hannah's oxygen dropped and her lungs would not ventilate because they were too full of fluid (phnemonia) So since they could not ventilate her we lost her! If he would have just listened to me she would still be here today and it hurts me!!!!! Because I feel like maybe I should have fought a little harder! But I didn't know! 😭 @ce5ce

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️
