I told my bf today that he can have a one weekend hall pass before the baby comes.. and one day a weekend to himself every weekend from now untill the baby comes (because he works then comes home to me every day, and spends his whole weekend with me as well). Even though hell have the one weekend hall pass I know him well enough that he wouldn't go sleep with another girl, and even if he did decide to he'd be smart about it. Would any of you do this with your man?

every single person is different and every single relationship is different. no one is perfect , and a relationship is not measured by what you lack or have yet to learn, but of only love. it all takes time & comitment. if you love a person, you allow growth by any means . of corse spme things may hurt and you may hurt your significant other but to understand eachother and comit to always pushing forward is the real test. im not perfect , and neither is he but in our relationship we always keep an open mind & trust eachother enough to not let it get out of control and always stay on the same page. in our relationship, we are truly happy & blessed to be together, who accepts eachother just the way we are. good luck girl.

I would let my man go out with his friends but not sleep with another girl. He wouldn't want me sleeping with another man. We don't believe in cheating but I understand the whole getting some time to yourself and stuff, I feel like everyone needs that or they'd go crazy haha. But I've been having a ton of alone time since he's 2.5 hours away at school. I'd trade that to be with him everyday. He actually liked staying home and spending time with me, but he would go to the gym and with his friends occasionally, which I didn't mind. :)

Please, save the "we waited until we had those things out of our system" bs. Babies don't wait for the convenient time. Just because you waited until the age of 26 to have a kid doesn't mean someone who has a kid at 21, or 16 or whatever isn't ready. And what's the difference between a "hall pass", allowing your partner to get whatever they need to get out before a baby comes and a bachelor/bachelorette party? It's almost the same thing. My fiancé spends a lot of time with me and my son, but that doesn't mean he needs to spend every single second of his time with us. He chose to be a father to my son. He doesn't even need to be here, my child isn't his responsibility. But anyway, I don't see anything wrong with someone giving their partner a chance to get away before their baby comes. From my understanding men have a harder time expressing their worries about fatherhood so this gives the guy a chance to go have fun without the stress of trying to remember if he washed bottles, or packed extra clothes in the diaper bag so mom didn't need to. It's better to hear a man gets he opportunity to go hang out BEFORE the baby is born rather than waiting until after and leaving mom with a newborn not knowing where her bf is or worrying that he's hurt while she's sleep deprived trying to figure out how to put a onesie on without buttoning it up wrong at 3am. Again, AS A MOM, I PERSONALLY believe this "hall pass" is a good, healthy idea, assuming her man does the right thing. And hey, maybe he'll volunteer to stay home! Who knows. But It is 12:30, my son has been asleep for awhile, my fiancé and I are ready to go cuddle up sooooo peace out. ✌🏼️💙😋

@kimberlyyyy, you're right. I don't know how it is to be a parent, because we waited to have children till we were older and had those things out of our system. I don't have to worry about him needing a "hall pass". A man becoming a father should want to be home with the mother of his child.

@brenanner, I also don't see how wanting 1 day a week apart so he can have some alone time makes us not ready to be parents... but okay.

@brenanner everyone needs a break at some point. Maybe you'll see when you have your little one. She said she didn't expect her bf to go f**k around with other women. Maybe you can spend every waking moment with your partner but I can't. Not everyone else can. Doesn't mean we're in loveless relationships or that people aren't ready to be parents. Different people have different ways of going about it. I can only hope you feel the same way after having your little one. As a mom of a 4 year old I can say my fiancé and I have each had chances to get away from each other and from the kid and it's been very healthy in our relationship to have our own time. Until you have a child, you can't really say that someone isn't really ready to be a parent just because she gives her boyfriend a chance to get away. It's better to give him the chance to go out and have a good time before the baby comes rather than have him want to go out because he's stressed and needs to get away from the situation and responsibilities of parenthood.

@brenanner, its not that I need time away or time alone it's that I know he needs it. Everyone needs time alone at one point or another. He hasn't made it seem like he needs to be away from me or that he wants any less time with me. But since I don't have job I get time alone, where he doesn't. we love spending time together as well which is why were always together, but everyone needs alone time.

If you are in love he shouldn't want time away. Neither should you. And if you are looking at it that way it seems like neither of you are ready to be parents. I am my SO'S first love, and he has not once made it seem like he wants time away before our son is born, nor would I. Our favorite thing is to spend time together, which is the reason we chose to spend our lives together and start a family..... If there are still things he needs to get out of his system, those things should have been done before you got pregnant.

@kimberlyyyy, aha I didn't tell him that part but yes that is part of my plan.. so that once the baby is born if I need to go out and just sit in nature or go out with the girls or something I can without feeling guilty. I'll make sure he has everything he needs like enough breast milk and whatnot and of course if he calls Ill come home. but I know most girls worry about giving a hall pass cause they think the first thing he's gonna do is sleep with someone else but I think that's the last thing on his list of things he would do.

I would only do it if he would agree to let me have a couple hours away from the baby after its birth (after being done breastfeeding and whatnot). Long enough to let me take a mini drive and sit at the beach or go shopping or blast my music without the kiddos near me, Or I would take my first born with me and leave him with the baby or something. I dunno. I think it's awesome you're doing it! I hope he appreciates that you're letting him get whatever it is out of his system. I probably won't want to do that.

@hayleybug, like the hall pass weekend is more of a like well like for instance I won't let him do cocaine so if he wanted to do that.. so be it.. its not like yeah your hall pass is just to go fuck girls it's like whatever he wants yo do that I usually would get mad about.. the one day a weekend to himself is because we always are together besides if he's at work like he doesn't goto his friends house without asking if I wanna go.. so I always go.. so I figured I should give him 1 day a week to just himself.

it just can open things up and he can use it against you. partying never get out your system until you ready to settle down.. my husband is a family man loves to work and come home to be with his family its better when they like this!! don't open that door, I seen it happen to many people. if he wanna go out once in a while that fine, but its gonna be nights you wish he stayed home.

She's not talking about him sleeping with someone else. Are you? I see it as going out with friends one night to eat or play a game or something just like us girls would go out with friends to get our nails done or something

Its not that I'm saying go sleep with someone else during your hall pass.. its more of a well your gonna be a dad, so go out party, do the things you feel you need to get out of your system before the baby comes. Like if he happens to actually get the nerve to sleep with another woman (which I highly doubt) I would be fine with it just because he's only been with me, I took his virginity a couple years ago and he's never experienced anyone else. so I figured I would give him the opportunity before everything changes for us. But in all reality hell honestly probably go camping, get drunk in the woods, and go cave exploring.. So no I'm not saying okay well go fuck as many girls as you can, or go fuck any girls at all.. Its go out enjoy time by yourself and get things out of your system that you won't be able to do once the baby is born.. just because I'm giving him a hall pass doesn't mean he jumped to "oh I can go fuck someone else" cause he's very happy with our sex life we usually have sex 3-4 times a day lol. @jabarismommy @mrskel1 @hayleybug @iheartriley @mam_a7x @hazel529july2 @jade90kdcicg @mommabear2015

Lol no. My husband is way too excited about the baby to even want to do that. I'm still talking boundaries with him for when the baby's born so that we're both able to socialize with friends and spend time together. We have some tentative plans for that but I wouldn't even dream of doing a "day off" thing with him. We've got shit to do, he's still free to make plans as long as it doesn't interfere with OUR plans, and I refuse to put myself in some kind of position where I'm managing any part of his goofy life. I don't have to remind him that if he cheats on me, he's going to get stuck with whatever inferior loser he picked 😂

I get the weekend thing but the hall pass i wouldnt.. if hes happy he doesnt need to have a hall pass to sleep with someone he should be happy enough with just sleeping with you.. me and my fiance are together a lot but i let him be with his friends if he wants anytime but i would never give him a hall pass to sleep with a girl because then i dont need him in my life...i mean think about if he did use that hall pass to sleep with some girl your going to think about that for the rest of your life..your saying he is smart and wont do it then why even say something about a hall pass to him? to tempt him? i dont know if you're getting what im saying but im not trying to be rude

I would never give my husband a hall pass. He's my husband, and I'd expect him to act like it. I wouldn't feel sorry for him because he had to spend too much time with me, and had to help me. He married me, and only me. Being pregnant, I'd expect a lot more out of him. I would never let him sleep with another woman. I mean hanging out with friends is ok, but he better stay away from the club. I'd respect him the same way!! That's just my view though lol. :)

Rant My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wrong, but he can really get on my nerves and makes me upset to the point I go to bed earlier than him and cry until I fall asleep. Idk if it's the hormones or something/: I try to be a great fiancé. But I always seem to fail /:

This is my son Walter. Today is his birthday. He would have been five. This picture was taken when he was 16 days old. He was my first child and my only son (I now have 3 girls). He passed away the next day after this picture from congenital heart failure. It was a miracle that he lived passed 12 weeks gestation because of how severe his heart defects were. I miss him so much, I can't believe it's been 5 years. It still hurts so bad. I don't talk about him a lot out loud because I end up bawling, so i thank you for letting me share this with you ladies. You have always been nice and supportive. Happy birthday son, your mom loves you.

I wish I had a Man by My side who understood the pain of first trimester. So long story short..BD asks Me if I need to pee before He showers I say No. Then after he's in the bathroom for quite sometime he comes out and says he's about to shower..I said I thought You already showered. He said No. Anyway mid shower I have to pee so I text him telling him I have to pee because I dare not knock on the door unless I want to get yelled at and called names. He comes out yelling at Me anyways telling Me he asked Me beforehand I said I didn't have to pee then. Then he goes on to tell Me to hurry up and turn My hotspot on so he can use it. I get up slowly because I'm in a bit of aching this evening then he yells at Me to hurry up..I make My way slowly down the hallway still getting yelled at. I don't know why he thinks I should do anything for him! This is so hard Y'all! I fight back tears every day *darn hormones*
