Okay. so I'm having issues with my roomates. they have a 4 month old baby and said the doctor told them to keep the temperature at 75° . that's way to hot for me right now since I'm 6 months pregnant and growing. and honestly I dont think the doctor said that. cause every time I turn it down lower she seems to sleep through the night. when its at 75° she wakes up and they dont even hear her or get up to take care of her. when I'm pretty sure its cause she's too hot. its starting to make me angry. because here I hot heat stroke yesterday. and before they were complaining cause the power Bill was so high when it isn't just the a.c its their 24th being on 24/7. I'm sorry . kinda ranting. it just makes me mad. I feel like they dont even care when weve been paying most the bills. like my roomate had the a.c on during the winter when she was pregnant. So what is wrong with me having it on during the summer when its hot !!!

I've never heard of that, but I won't say they're lying necessarily. It IS odd though... I keep my house at 75 just so I don't have to pay a fortune, but I do keep a fan on at night (still cheaper than the AC). It gets awfully warm with all that blood in your veins!

68℉ is plenty warm for a 4 month old especially if they have a sleeper on. we keep our bourse around 63℉ and my son is always hot when he wakes up. He's 5 months old so I don't get why a doctor would say 75℉ for a 4 month old.

Where are you located? I'm in Cali, it is DAMN hot. Around 100f at night. We keep our AC on 68-70 all night and all day. Our one year old is completely fine and he sleeps in a diaper and t shirt. We've always kept our house on this temp since he was born and he's always been fine. I've read and heard that you should keep the temp on whatever is comfortable to you but to always dress the baby in one more later than you have on. Maybe they don't want to pay a high electric bill?

Yea that's silly...I'm sorry but you know the bill is going to be higher in the summer that's just the way things go. You don't have the luxury of trying to keep it higher they need to lower it a few degrees at least.

With my roommate situation we dont use the ac for the whole house we all have or on fans / heaters so everyones room is the temperature they prefer it saves money and the disagreements maybe you can look into that they have the fans with the air filters that blow like a mini air conditioner or swamp coolers look into that

that's what I thought. and i live in utah @queendavis . but it still gets super hot. I'm sick of this shit. I wish we had the money to already be in our own place. @ce5ce. I agree. but they think they know everything and they are just making up excuses so that they dont have to freeze. they are big babies. I only put it to 72° and they sit there and complain and complain.
