So my husband thinks that if me and my 1 month old son sleep next to each other in my bed that my son is gonna suffocate and die.i don't move in my sleep and baby is either on his back or side facing me and any time baby moves or makes a noise I'm instantly awake. what r other moms thoughts on this?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I did that with my daughter sometimes and let me tell you how hard it was to get her to stay in her crib lol, I learned my lesson and my son is in his bassinet right next to the bed basically touching it

I also have a Co sleeper hooked to my side of the bed but baby likes to sleep snuggled up to me

I think my husband dosent understand that since iv had my son that him making the slightest movement or noise wake me

My hubby has the same fear . I've baby sat and nannied where I had the baby sleep on my chest or next to me in bed and if they twitch, I wake up. But he had a bad experience and doesn't like it at all . Smh it's a preference

Currently I'm trying to transition my baby to a co sleeper that's in the bed with us because my hubby moves a lot in his sleep and soon I'll want to sleep differently than I have been. But the way I look at it is if you know how you sleep it shouldn't matter. I never understood why moms slept with their baby until I had mine and she slept with me from the first night

It can happen BUT I also co-sleep and since having my son it's like my mind knows he's there even when I'm asleep. I don't move at all in my sleep when he's there. I wake up the same spot and way I fell asleep.
