I'm due October 1st and im getting so impatient and I feel like it's going slow

why did they give you a shot to stop them .? I'm new at this it's my first baby so I'm nervous lol . I'm going tomorrow to see if I'm dilated at all.

I'm teally not sure i havent been checked, but i have dilated once when i went into early labor at 31 weeks i was at a 2 but they had to give me a shot to stop contractions!
