Reese eats around 5-6 oz every 3 hours or so. She's only 2 months old. Is this normal for such a young baby?
My daughter was drinking 4 ounces ever6 2 hours by 3 weeks and now she is 2 months old and drinking 4-6 every 2-3 hours. My pediatrician said treats fine. Babies know when there full and wouldn't drink it if they didn't want it.
Have you tried Happiest Baby on the Block. I am obsessed. Our son cried so much in the beginning but we followed the easy steps and he became an angel. I reccomend the dvd so you can watch him do the techniques. I know the urge is to feed when they're sad but you don't want to stretch her tummy out!
I let my son cry sometimes cuz I do everything to help soothe him and he just cries. so I let him... for 5 minutes. before I feel horrible and tgen I pick him up and walk around with him. ..
when u feed her do u Do it skin to skin? that helps soothe them... we shouldn't feed a baby everytime.they cry.
I walk around with my son all over the house...
I talk to him...
I bathe him, massage him, burp him, I put him in my Moby wrap and walk around with him, I turn on my radio for some white noise, or the vacuum machine, sometimes the fan works.. I try different frequencies. .
We feed her that much because that's what she'll drink and it's also the only thing that makes her stop crying. I always try giving her a bath so she'll relax and that works for a few minutes and then she starts screaming again. And I always burp her a lot and don't let her drink more until she does. We use a white noise machine at night too. @mssjudyk
no, she should be drinking 2.5-3 oz the most. ... babies feed fir different reasons. . they'll feed when they're hurting, hungry, tired, teething..... do u feed her that much because that's how much she'll drink or because when u stop she cries? if she cries do u try other things to sooth her? like a bath.. massage.. burping and making sure she burps. . walking around with her... sime white noise?
Stupid autocorrect. Pediatrician said it's fine for her to have that much. If your worried about it, ask your doctor.
