Anyone ever dealt with mastitis? Can you tell me your symptoms and if you had to take antibiotics or did it go away on its own? Yesterday my side of my boob became so sore almost like it’s bruised and today where it’s tender at is now red 😭

I've been hospitalized. Came in yesterday evening around 5pm, I had a heart rate of 157 and a very high fever! I had horrible symptoms since Thursday. Initially I thought I just had a clogged duct and a flu. I really didn't know the symptoms of Mastitis. I am on heavy antibiotics now and have to stay until Tuesday! I need some support ladies. After a month of bf/pumping My boobs still just cannot regulate my milk. I have tried literally everything under the sun and I am in SO MUCH PAIN all the time. Is it possible to get it after 5 months of no bf?? I'm in so much pain. My nipple has a huge lump under it and on my agenda it's really red and puffy. My boob hurts all over. My nipple is on fire it feels! I can't wear a bra and it hurts just for my shirt to lay across it. I'm wearing a shirt 2X my size! It's also making my chest feel right like it kinda hurts to breathe!
