Getting my strep b test tomorrow. What should I expect? I honestly don't recall getting this done with my other kids.

Lol nah it's not that , & if it's positive you don't even get treated until you start labor ,because it's a bacteria that all women have, sometimes during pregnancy it comes out and it's not safe for the babies eyes but it's nothing to stress over

Lol it wasn't bad at all tho it's only a cotton swab and it doesn't go inside they just test your skin
@babyhawkins2015, me either.... I know with my 16 yo it wasn't done but I don't remember with the 3yo. I still have to get my whooping cough vaccine

I don't think it was that bad if I remember correctly they just swab your genital area with a q tip
My doctor told me in the beginning of this pregnancy it was. I've never heard of it before then. I was going to ask my doctor tomorrow was it mandatory... @babyhawkins2015 I'm guessing it is now?

They take a long qtip and take a swab of the inside of your cervixs and swab around your rectal
@aliya0915, Is that mandatory??? I HATE shots with a passion. I mean, I will get it for baby's safety, especially with what just happened to my gbabes.
