Also what is a good size for the baby to be delivered ? And also what makes you dilate ....
So basically it varies on how many weeks you are @reaganmommy2015
they told her he was going to be about 8 pounds but she was stressing too much so they gave her a c-section and turns out he was 10. he was right on time tho so they dont always know how big they are
My mom had me early one month early and I weighed 5 pounds and she also had my brother two months early and he was I think 3 pounds my uterus is positioned weird it goes more towards my back my doctor told me after I had a miscarriages I also had my son at 38 weeks he weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and my daughter was born at 39 +1 day and she weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces I can only hope them to a certain weight
I heard breastfeeding does wonders for your weight gain and even holds off aunt flow for a while and I can't say I've been eating healthy 😔 cause since I got pregnant I can't stand cooking but that's okay though just a few more weeks to go lol I'll probably pass 200 but I have faith it's only the stomach anyways lol @queenmother
@amiyahsmommy, I completely understand that struggle! I gained a lot of weight also. I eat really healthy so idk why but I was 125 when I got pregnant too and I'm at 180. It kinda even distributed throughout my body so I carry it well but people definitely noticed and comment on my weight gain :-( I'm determined to lose it ASAP after I have this baby!
!!!!! But I didn't know that whatever I eat will fatten the baby up I'm messing up I weigh almost 200 pounds when I first found out I was like 125 pounds now I'm 195 @queenmother
@amiyahsmommy, I wish my dr would give me an estimated weight...he won't I guess he's afraid of being off or something he just tells me I'm measuring on track! I'm like ok so what does that mean! I would love a 7lb baby perfect size!
my mom had big babies, my oldest brother was 10.1 my other brother was 9.9 and I was her biggest at 10.7! I think it all depends on genetics. my brothers kids ranged from 7 to 8 pounds each cuz the mom's were tiny.
Oh good thank god my doctor thinks my baby will be 7 pounds but she's already 5.5 pounds in only 34 weeks she's measuring a week ahead @queenmother
@amiyahsmommy, yea most dr would suggest induction if they think the baby will be that big because it puts mom and baby at too much risk as far as vaginal delivery . I have a friend who had to have bother her kids c-section because they were too big! They took the second at 37w and her was still over 9lbs and she didn't even have gestational diabetes
@amiyahsmommy, anything can happen at any moment . & yes I had an epidural .
Wow I'm surprised they let the baby get that big I didn't know they could do that I thought doctors joked about that having a ten pound baby @suresti
@queenmother, that's what I thought I thought they would rather stay in the womb besides leave there safety
Lucky everyone is having baby's and my cervix is sitting here strong as ever @amber.s95 and @gadgesmama did you have any medications. @ftmbabyboy11 Ohhh that makes perfect sense i was told though if a baby is born 35 weeks up they have a 90-99 percent chance they will survive
At birth, the average baby weighs about 7.5 pounds the range of normal is between 5.5 and ten pounds...this is what my dr told me on Tuesday....and I don't believe the whole baby when come when they are ready because some babies come early and some babies would go way to long...thank God for modern medicine that can help us bring healthy babies into this world when our bodies don't do what they should
im sure it depends on the person. but my nephew was 10 pounds and they did an emergency c-section on my sister @amiyahsmommy
Thats a tiny baby! As much as I want my baby here I'm not gonna force him out if hes not ready. I'm 4 days away from my due date so I wish he would get ready real soon lol
From what I have heard babies are born with a variation in between weight, a lot of factors come into play, how many weeks gestation etc, babies that are not full term less than 37 or 38 weeks are going to weigh less obviously, the norm seems to be within 6.5 and 9 pounds but it really just depends. As for dilation based on what I have been told the baby releases hormones that tell your body when he or she is ready and that can make you dilate but it doesn't always happen, Another thing that helps is walking and sex. And some can be slightly dilated for days or even a couple weeks without any further progress.
I apologize for snapping @gadgesmama thank you for that information. @suresti is it possible to pop out a ten pound baby without a c section
I think about 6-8 pounds is the "normal" range. walking helps you dialate because gravity
I didn't even say that rude !
normal size is 6 pounds .
& sex , sitting on as birthing ball walking and keeping your bladder empty.
Thank you @amber.s95 that was all I was curious about because my friend just had a 4.1 pound baby because she forced her out at 35 weeks pregnant
I think that it just depends on your baby because my mom had 5 pound babies and my aunt had 9 pound babies. 5 pounds is considered a small baby. When you have Braxton hicks they help you thin and dilate and also excerize like walking will help you dilate.
@gadgesmama, you act like I said I'm going to force my child out I Asked what is a good size aka what's the normal weight for a baby to be born and I also asked what makes you dilate I never once said im gonna make myself dilate smh
If you drink energy drinks what is your favorite? Also what flavor if they have multiple?

Let's see those baby bumps!!!! 💙💙👶🏽👶🏽🎀🎀 also what are you having!!!??
Goodmorning ladies! What is the BEST diet to go on to lose weight? I'm exercising also
I want to hear from all you mommies what you are craving or craved during pregnancy.
I'm a watermelon girl. I also like refried beans. I do however find myself wanting random things but only one serving. what about you?
No actually the weight of the baby @amiyahsmommy
