🚨🚨🚨RANT🚨🚨🚨I really need to rant for a bit. I love my grandmother to death but the woman stresses me out and unintentionally insults me constantly. She wanted to buy my dress for my baby shower so I told her I had one picked out on hold and she just had to go pay for it. I would have bought it myself but I decided to let her do this even though I knew it would involve her always negative opinions. I didn't go with her to get it but while she was there she called me to ask if I was "sure" I wanted horizontal stripes (I'm guessing because they make me look bigger or they dont look good on a big person) and I told her yes I am sure. When she brought it over she had a sweater with her and I told her I wasn't wearing a sweater. it's too hot for a sweater. she proceeded to tell me that I "really need" a sweater because of my fat saggy arms. which are in the picture. I know my arms are fat and saggy and resember an old partially deflated balloon. they have always looked like that even when I was smaller. I've tried exercises to tone them and tighten them but it doesn't work. nothing will change the way they look unless I get surgery. which I wouldn't do unless I just had the spare money and didn't have to save or do without to have it. but I will not live the rest of my life avoiding tank tops and sleeveless things just because someone might be offended by my arms. I won't do it. I love her but one thing I really can't stand is how important other people's opinions are. my opinion is you shouldn't hide things that aren't problems. if someone thinks something of you that's not true because of how you look then that's their problem. you shouldn't judge someone or make assumptions based on how they look. like the many times she told me people will think I'm on drugs because of my piercings and tattoos.
