My husband and I have made the decision to start trying to get pregnant. I have about three weeks left of my BC pills. How long did it take for you to have your first actual period after you came of the pill? How long did ya'll wait to try? How long did it take ya'll to get pregnant? And I would just love advice on the whole situation!

I was on bc since 8th grade. I stopped taking it this past year In like Sep or Oct. had a normal period got pregnant in the end of Feb and had a miscarriage in March got pregnant again in April. It really depends on your body. Good luck!
@mommyslittleman Cool! I've been on BC pills for about 7yrs and the dr was saying that it could take months for me to even have my first period because I've been on it so long.
Took my Nuva Ring out early so we could start trying. Had two periods after that and then conceived.
Ya honestly no joke I got off the pill we waited a few weeks then we tried. next thing I know I'm now 28 weeks lol. good luck hun! :)
So you got pregnant the first time ya'll had sex with out the pill? And thanks! I can't wait! It's earlier than we were wanting to try but I got diagnosed with endometriosis and the dr said we would have a better chance of conceiving if we tried earlier rather that later.
it took me the first time we had sex without a pill. I got my period after about a week or two after getting off it. I know it seems scary but I promise, God works in wonderful and mysterious ways. I'll pray for you two to get your beautiful bundle of joy 😊🙏
