We didn't. Because of his lip toe he never really took one, or a bottle for that matter. Lip tie or not we will probably skip it for this one, too. He got along perfectly without one and now we don't have to break the habit ;)
@bsummers, I say yes.. I was against it with my first who I exclusively breastfed, until he wanted to just suck for comfort and was waking up every hour! The pacifier got us both some more rest! I used soothie pacifiers and I plan on using them with my daughter too.. My son spit the pacifier out at 5 months old and never used it again! lol
Loved the soothies! I didn't give my babies pacis for the first couple days, but until they were breastfeeding well. But after that, totally! I take them away once they're not babies anymore, though. Can't stand to see like a 2-3 year old with one 😑.

yes because it's not bad for them. and yes because if the start to such on their fingers it will ruin their teeth!

We are planning on going without, we feel it's easier to never introduce it then have to take it away later
