Anyone know where I should go to see if I can get my baby on Medicare? I am on it already.

Yeah they told me once it's born I have to go to DHS and I have the same name except mine is spelt Cali pretty name (: lol
with Callie I had to go to the DHHR and get papers and everything and fill them out for Medicaid. and the way my hospital explains Obama care is that if you qualify for Medicaid but sign up with Obama care they'll still give you state insurance so I'm not really sure?
Oh with this insurance too I get a free breast pump of my choice and I called and they said I have to wait till the baby is born then go up to DHS. What is the difference between Obama care and Medicaid? @sev1226
If you're on Medicare as long as you are... However, if the baby's dad has health insurance you can choose to put the baby on that coverage too. It's called a "change of life" and they have to accept the baby. With Obamacare, there is a lot of emphasis on newborn health. I would suggest reading up on Obamacare as well because you can get a free breast pump sometimes and a lot of other benefits.

it was like that with my first I believe its like that in every state they have you do the application in hospital so your not charged for the birth and other stuff
I was going to say the same thing. When the baby is born, it automatically goes on moms insurance.
The way it works here in Florida the hospital starts the application for you once the baby is born but that's here in Florida not sure if they all work the same
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
