she might feel really bad right now about it and doesn't want to say anything yet because of the guilt. I'm sure your mom didn't intentionally put it on him to hurt him. we all make mistakes and I'm sure if I were in your shoes I would be very pissed

It was a "Dermalogica" product called Barrier repair cream... I break out from it so idk what made her think it's ok for him @ligermama

That's what I thought would've happened... Literally nothing.. So she lost her privileges as grandma.. The poor kid sleeps all day from the Benadryl we have to give him every 6 hours 😔😭 @renaldoswife

@pruisbianca, oh hell no that is crazy! That's her grandchild I dnt understand how she isn't calling asking how he's doing or even apologizing. I would never be able to forgive myself if I did something like that I'd be checking in on the baby all the time untill the burn goes away!

I wouldn't care who she is.... She has some explaining and apologizing to do. She has harmed your baby. You do not but anything adult on a child sensitive skin.... She would be cut off!

She lost her privileges after she wouldn't apologize... I would rather leave him with my aunt who actually calls before she does anything to my baby asking for permission... @firstbaby_girl

poor baby. a babys skin is wayyyyy too sensitive for something like that. I would yell or at least tell her what she did was wrong and it caused severe pain to your baby. also that if she is going to do things like that while she watches him that you might not want her to watch him in the future.

Honestly if she felt bad then why hasn't she apologized to her grandson and her daughter?! Has she even asked how he's doing?! A chemical burn is serious and even worse for a 4 month old baby hell no I would be livid especially coming from my mom like she's supposed to be grandma paying attention to everything for her grandbaby

I hope he starts feeling better! poor little guy, I'm sorry :(... I would be pissed too but @sassymccrum is right. She might just feel really bad and not really wanna show her face. I know if I accidently did something wrong or anything, especially if it's a big deal, I don't wanna be by anyone and kinda just wanna go in a corner and die. Give it some time to calm down then talk to her. But if she still doesn't show even the least bit apologetic then yeah I'd be super pissed too

I was cursing her out in front of everyone and she was blaming everyone but herself. My son has sensitive skin. Idk what made her think an adult cream that I MYSELF break out from was going to be ok for my 4 month old son.... @edomke @renaldoswife

Honestly I would be pissed! A chemical burn? Mom or not I would have some words for her ass! Especially when you specifically gave her cream for the eczema!
