Is anyone else having a hard time swallowing their prenatal vitamins? I really like them because they don't make me…

@vaevae2008, Lol I hear ya. They are hard to swallow. seems like they should be a different shape.

I'm taking them now.. I have to gulp them down with Pepsi every morning otherwise they won't go down

@babyn2015, I know how you feel. My problem is just getting it down but luckily I don't have it feel like it's still in my throat.

I tried taking those. Omg I gagged all the time and when it did go down my throat it felt like it was stuck and wanted to come back up

@mrsjosephine, I've tried that. I think the shape of the pill is making me gag. I've never had a problem taking anything before. I'm the queen of popping vitamins but they're either smoother or smaller. This pill is kinda big. lol

i have a trick for pills. take a sip of water or juice but leave it inside your mouth, then pop the pill in and gulp the liquid with the pill. it goes straight down and you dont taste the nasty vitamin taste just the liquid.

I had. But after I told it to my doc he changed it for smaller

The main reason I stuck with them was bc my doctor HIGHLY recommend them! Good luck!

Yes that's exactly my problem. I take it with Gatorade and it really helps breaking it in half!

@chichimango, yikes, hopefully you can break them with those pill cutters, I don't see why not ..but then again, I am not the pharmaceutical company lol

@emilywebb, Omg!!!! I have to chug orange juice to get it down. lmao. I thought I was the only one. I'll try breaking them in half to see if gets easier. 😄

Also I tried crushing them and I wouldn't recommend it, it made me sick bc it's a very strong taste!

That's my problem. @babyhawkins2015 I'm gagging when I never had an issue before. But I'm gonna call the company and see if crushing them is ok. I have too many bottles and I can't find the receipt. 😕

I gagged on those pills! Asked my dr about prenatal gummies and he approved! I love these..but I also take other supplements as well such as iron and fish oil.
