Are c sections bad and do they hurt while their doing the c section ???? And can a c section hurt the baby ??

I just took ibuprofen after leaving the hospital it doesn't hurt just pressure, if it's scheduled you'll get a spinal block, if not then your epidural will just be used to put more meds in to completely numb you, both my girls were c-section and neither one of them have ever had any problems

They aren't bad! I was scared the first time , second time was sooooo easy n painless I'm getting my third soon here n I'm excited !!

I didn't feel a thing during mine except pressure. the only thing that hurt was when the spinal wore off and all the healing and recovery

mine hurt! I merit screaming I hated it so much. mine saved my baby's life she had the cord around her neck 3 times ď

i had an emergency csection, i was put to sleep so i missed it all, worst feeling. afterward it was sore and hard to get around without help. it does not hurt the baby, as long as they are careful, my sons head was cut on my second cesearean! he got 2 stitches at birth i was so sad.

I had a spinal tap for the c-section an epidural for my first who was a vaginal birth (barely)

@ashleblackman I am on demerol (I'm allergic to codeine) now but was on morphine through my IV for the first 12 hours after the c-section. It is surgery so you will be on some good pain meds. The first day is the worst. I'm on day too and I am able to span out my pain meds more and I am walking now. Doesn't hurt the baby one bit

Didn't hirt my daughter at all. Actually, they kept telling me that she was head and when they went in realized she was BUTT down in the birth canal. So in that respect saved me and my daughter a lot of stress and laboring for no reason

Just had one Thursday evening. You don't feel any pain during just a lot of pulling and jerking feeling. When they are pulling the baby out it feels like someone sitting on your chest. Pain come later lol. If you keep on top of your meds you'll be OK.
