@adamsmaaa, I expect for some people to react this way because it is the product of American society. I am all for babies being fed and taken care of, whether they're fed formula or breastmilk. @gamermommy83, im surprised no one butted in this convo yet. But recent studies show that cow milk doesn't benefit us too much and even cows own babies wean off their mothers milk. It actually has enzymes in it that's harmful to humans in the long run. I would take it in moderations. Breast is best. In my religion it's actually manditory to Breast feed for at the least two years. It says the child must suckle on the mothers Breast for milk. It's a very natural process all women go through. There's reasons why God made our bodies this way and should not be questioned or second looked at. There's a reason milk still comes in for many women.

Well I guess it's a good thing he walks and talks and feeds himself then, isn't it? And the notion that on a child's first birthday, my milk somehow becomes not nutritious anymore is absurd, it's still full of vitamins, minerals, and live antibodies. And I guess I should just ignore the WHOs recommendation to nurse until at least 2 because people like you exist, huh? Ok, well I don't see the point in buying breastmilk from a cow to give to a human baby, when I can give him human milk. And if you think it's perverted, then you are sick. Breasts are in no way sexual organs. Their sole purpose is to feed young. And the two year old pictured walked at 8 months...

@lp1988727, my son just turned 2. The world health organization recommends nursing until at LEAST 2 and longer if both mom and child are content, which we are. The world wide average for self weaning is 4.5. And only in the United states is this considered "weird." My son is both happy and healthy, and our pediatrician fully supports all the extra health benefits my son will gain from nursing alongside his brother and weaning when he's ready.
