Yes: ) my friend took 3 big bags of crap with her to the hospital and she was so upset because she only used a few items. She said it was a waist of time

yep! plus you gotta remember, the more you bring, the more you gotta take home and put away again. The less you gotta carry and worry about the better.

exactly: ) All I took with me when I had my daughter was a
brush and a hair tie, my phone and charger, a outfit for me and baby to go home in, (car seat was already in the car) My tooth brush, and my wallet with a few bucks in it. I used the hospital's ugly socks, shampoo and soap, tooth paste, and gown. I even used their pads, and hospital diapers for me since I needed ice and medication down their. it was a better experience that way.
