For those of you who haven't heard , my pregnancy has been high risk . Yesterday I went to my 32 week checkup and NST at my OB and baby looked good on the NST but my blood pressure was super high out of the blue it has been good through the pregnancy thus far but the few days before my appointment I was feeling kind of crummy , lethargic and just not myself . My doctor sent me over to labor and delivery for more monitoring in which my blood pressure was extremely high 186/111 they admitted me started a magnesium iv and gave me another round of steroid shots and had me transferred up to Tacoma General by ambulance ( Has a great NICU for preemies) my blood pressures are stable but still high , having severe headaches and changes in vision . The doctors diagnosed me with Severe Preeclampsia , and have decided the best option for both Christian and I is for him to be delivered . So he will be making an early debut at 32+1 weeks and most likely be in the NICU until his due date all depending on him . I am in the process of being induced but it will be a slow process and he most likely won't make his appearance until tomorrow . Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers !!
