Not pregnancy related, but going through background investigations for a federal government job is intense, and this is my second time going through one. They've asked me questions dating back to the 7th grade, and have contacted people I went to high school with- 12+ years ago! Good thing I've got a completely clean record, but it's intense nonetheless.

It really is! When I worked for the FDA, they contacted someone I went to the 8th grade with. The federal gov't is NOT playing around!
