So here's my labor story. I was awake all night as I felt baby dropping, I had round ligament pain and tried my hardest to fall asleep. I started having contractions at 1 am, I didn't think it was contractions though because they didn't feel what I imagined contractions to be like. It was more of a pressure and baby dropping pain than a cramping pain and it wasn't as bad as I imagined labor was gonna be. So I got into the shower, walked around and squatted, trying to make the pain stop. My baby's dad woke up around 4 and told me I was in labor, I was in denial though and refused to go to the hospital because I thought they would just send me home. He called my grama and she said she was on her way to get us. So I finished packing my bags and headed out side. The whole time denying I was in labor. When I had gotten to the hospital it was about 530 and I was 5 centimeters dilated. I felt like I was in that room forever, they forced me to lay down when all I wanted to do was walk around. I asked for some pain meds but I didn't want the epidural so they checked my cervix and said it was too late that I was dilating so fast I was at 7 cm 10 min after arriving. All I wanted was my grama so I cried until she got into the room, I wanted to push so badly but had to hold it in until 9 cm when they tried pushing my cervix out of the way but it kept dropping so, then it was time to push and baby's heart beat dropped so they vacuumed her out and with a few pushes she was here.
