which os better infants Tylenol or infant motrin? Sadie has her 2 month shots and I want to have one just in case

@paisleysmama0216, omg total change. we stayed at my parents for dinner so like 3 hours 45 min drive home and she was fine. get her home and she screamed for 45 min she's never ever cried more than 3 MI. she doesn't really cry I feel so awful

@paisleysmama0216, she's out cold. I had to pull over to make sure she was okay because she doesn't sleep in the car seat that quick

😔 Pai let out the WORSE shrill screams I had ever heard at her 4 month shots...sorry they went badly, how is she feeling now?

@paisleysmama0216, shots were awful they wouldn't let me nurse because she gagged on the oral stuff so they didn't want her to choke. and she screamed and I cried it was awful

Sounds like a good plan 👍 ...I have friends who nursed while baby got shots and they claim it made all the difference ☺️ shots suck BUT the more positive you stay the better off you and baby are since she can sense your anxiety...good luck dear 💕

@paisleysmama0216, I made a breastmilk popsicle just in case and I plan on giving her a cool breastmilk bath tonight. I'm hoping they'll let me feed her while they do it and it won't probably bother her I'm not looking forward to it at all

I don't think motrin is safe until about six months

If it's a low grade fever sometimes a luke warm bath or cool wash cloths on her forehead or back of the neck will help...it's always good to have some in the house just in case...hopefully her shots go well and lots of mommys cuddles will keep her content ☺️😘

@paisleysmama0216, @vondab490. I don't plan on giving her any unless she has a fever. I just want to have some at our house if she does her app isn't until 4pm so it'll be late if she get one and she gets grumpy I'm just going to get Tylenol

They gave it to here at 4 months, I think. They told me to rotate between Motrin and Tylenol. If I remember correctly, though, they said Motrin works better

I could alternate. Give them Tylenol then 4 hrs later the Motrin. That's wat my dr said anyways.

Only Tylenol for babies under (either 6months or a year...I can't remember)...personally I would try to get the fever down naturally bc Tylenol is linked to liver damage and I'm pretty sure Motrin/ibuprofen is linked to kidney damage...good luck & hope your baby girl feels better 💕

The hospital gave my daughter Motrin/ibuprofen last time she we went there for a high fever. It dropped significantly after 30 mins. I was impressed!! I don't think I've ever seen Tylenol work that fast
