My baby is going to be a quarter black and I'm scared I won't know how to manage and care for her hair if it's curly because I have naturally straight hair I would have zero idea what to do with it. My boyfriend says you have to care for it differently, I'm thinking of just youtubing it...Idk how I'd know anything without YouTube # lifesaver
I promise you, YouTube will be your best friend. But the biggest thing is you'll need to be very patient with her hair. Also, there is a WORLD of natural curly haired bloggers out there so you will have PLENTY of reliable resources!
My son and daughter are a quarter black and the didn't come out with curly hair at all and my hair is naturally curly. How ever my husband now is full black and his hair is super curly so I'm preparing myself lol but trust me it's super easy.
YouTube will be good start and that's good because ur trying. but its likely ur baby hair will be more manageable than you think. but I definitely recommend researching.
My parents adopted my little sister from Africa and she started watching tons of YouTube videos and she can now cornrow, braid in fake hair, do twists with beads on the ends...etc! It can be done girl :) also if you're on Facebook there's a page called Chocolate Hair / Vanilla Care and that lady on there does step by step videos also! Good luck to you!!
