Anyone who had to get stitched up after birth how long did it take afterwards to stop hurting? :( like I can't do anything without it hurting and it burns so bad when I pee

Yeah I used the peri bottle for weeks haha I was terrified to touch it!! But it does get better even though it seems like it never will!!
@ligermama, well my doctor said it was just a small Libya tear so it's not too bad but it hurts like it is haha it is very slowly getting a little bit better I take a warm bath about three times a day, use a little squeeze bottle with warm water when I pee and use a washcloth with warm water to clean down there because idk how else I can keep it clean, I'm scared to use soap down there
Sorry it sucks so much. Mine only was awful for a few weeks and down to very manageably sore by 5 weeks. And my tearing was a very intense 2nd degree. Do kegels too!!
@beccamorgan28, the spray that was mentioned above can be picked up at any over the counter drug store id get some of that for sure
@californiahaley, ugh I don't mind all the bleeding but it makes me not want to pee because it burns so bad. I've tired sitz bath but it doesn't really help. so I've tried sitting in the tub with it only a few inches of warm water and that seems to be helping a little bit
2 weeks to stop hurting. 8 weeks to heal. I also pulled my inner thigh muscles and that hurt worse that hurt for 8 weeks and healed at 10 weeks.
My baby is 4.5 months and it still hurts sometimes . I use the dermoplast spray that the hospital gave me
