if so couldn't u get your midwife to write a letter for u to give to your work saying the kind of jobs you are allowed to and not allowed to do. maybe if you got your midwife to say something to them maybe you would be able to do safer jobs. it sounds stupid having to ask for a note from someone sorta like school again, but if it makes it safer for you to work ita probably best

similar thing happened to me last week. I was designated the male end of my ward when my colleagues knew at least 5 of them had severe dementia and we're prone to violent outbursts because of this.

makes me so so cross how selfish people can be 😞 I feel your pain @123tommyanddorismew

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.

So someone contacted me waiting me to watch her son four days a week for $150/wk. I had to tell her that even if someone worked for $10/hr it only pays for a day and a half in my opinion?

I mean maybe I’d do it for $300? But the $150 I just can’t see if being worth it to me

maddykilgore Another thing to consider too is places that are 30 a day probably have a few kids
boymama523 Wow. In San Diego I used to nanny and would charge $20/hr and made $140/day x5 days
amysbabies I would just politely respond that your rates are $xxx a day/week however they work and that
