I did, I see no reason for them. I will love the baby regardless. if anything were to show up as a red flag in my ultrasound I'd get testing. luckily, nothing did.
@10yearslater , only reason I didn't opt out was so I could be prepared for it! It doesn't give you a yes or no answer anyways, just tells you the number in which how much risk you are.
@prettyyellow, @no3lastone4me @paisleysmama0216 @hale @karnawest @edomke @theredheadchic thanks ladies, for those that opted out... Thank you for sharing, I opted out and was very comfortable doing so... Anatomy scan came and went and all looks great. I opted out because of anxiety and because the outcome won't change but lately I've been second guessing my decision. I feel better knowing I'm not alone. For those that got it, thanks for sharing either way lol.
I didn't opt out BUT I told myself afterwards that I should've bc my anxiety was through the roof & it didn't matter what the outcome was gna b either way. Just unnecessary added stress for someone like me. The one good thing was I got an extra ultrasound though! I was super excited about that! 😊
I had it done yesterday. I don't know. I just wanted to know. More than anything I just wanted the additional ultrasound. Lol I just like seeing my baby.
I opted out since I decided that even IF something would have been wrong with baby girl I would still love her & keep her...she was born with nothing worse than a small heart murmur
I opted out of it when I was pregnant, but only because I know myself well I have anxiety and I just didn't want to stress myself out incase something did happen to be wrong plus either way I was still going to love and keep my baby.

I had it done because for prep and for better care. If my child did have anything proper care would be needed at birth with the right doctors.

Yes and I'm happy I didn't. My friends friend got a false positive and thought throughout her whole pregnancy her baby had Down syndrome
