Naaa to me was the first few days but because i had wayyyyy too much milk
Depends per woman I guess. My first I cried every single time I fed... I had this horrendous pain through my nipple, chest, shoulder blade and my back. Thought I was latching wrong and even hired someone to come supervise but I was doing everything right. Just went through 5 months of pain until my milk dried out! Hopefully this time it won't be bad but I'll still suck it up. My body is just super duper sensitive. I had a friend who had the same thing happen to her and she said her second baby was different. So like I said it just depends per person!
honestly, no😒😒 if you bear with the first week then give got it in the bag. listen to your baby's hunger cues, NOT the nurses. they told me I was feeding my child for too long when she was trying to bring my milk in but no such thing, it's called cluster feeding for a reason and she did it almost constantly the first few days so dont think it's because you're not doing a good job, it's just how it works. experiment with positions that best suits you and baby and ask for nipple cream. no matter how good your latch is, when it comes to cluster feedings, you'll be glad you have it. at the end of the day staying topless is what's best for you and baby (after delivery, I didn't have any modesty left😶-everyone saw me naked anyways😂) I say topless because it's best to air dry nipples and they might be sensitive and skin to skin is great to establish supply. breastfeeding to me is a bonus because I don't have to wake up and make a bottle so we sleep longer😀😄
It was very painful for me in the beginning and then once I got the hang of everything it doesn't hurt anymore... Just gotta power through the beginning😁

No! Is it painful in the beginning? Yes, but after a few weeks that pain goes away once your nipples get used to nursing a baby. Engorgement sucks too but only lasts for so long. I thought breastfeeding was awesome, I did it for 15 months.
At the beginning it's a little painful just because your breast get so big with milk and your nipples get sore but after two or three weeks it becomes totally normal and feels fine!
