I'll tell you right now the first three months is pure honeymoon but then after that it just gets hard...the first year is the hardest time of marriage because you are getting to know each other on a completely different level but if your relationship and love is strong enough you fight, make it work, and overcome all the hardships and then it just makes the marriage so much better because that first year will determine if you married the right person... I've been married for three years and had some struggles but I live my man so much I couldn't image a life without him...marry you soul mate and best friend I know a lot of women who get married just to get married l @drewmarie

My husband and I got married at the courthouse 4.5 months after we started dating. A lot of people thought we were too young & rushing in, but we knew we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives (I was 22). We celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary in April, and I honestly feel more in love every day. From the beginning, we both shared the same values in life and marriage. He's still my best friend and we laugh together, share hobbies & support each other in everything we do. Of course there are issues & arguments that come up, but we work through them and I think it makes our relationship stronger. We are both Geminis though, so that's been our biggest challenge! Haha You seem like such a romantic! I'm excited for you to experience it for yourself!!! :) ❤️

@drewmarie, I was and am young, but I never make a promise that I can't keep and the way my husband and I both are, wed rather fight through the tough times for what means the most rather than take the easy way out when the going gets rough. When you sign that marriage license, you not only promise each other, but God that you'll do what it takes. We fight but without each other, both of us would be lost.

I got married at 25 and he proposed by taking me to a waterfall overlooking the fall foliage and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him he pulled out this huge diamond ring and I was absolutely amazed didn't even see it coming Lol

I've only been married for a short three months almost, but it's been the best time of my life. I think that's how it should be. :) and honestly doesn't feel like it's changed one bit from just living together. Everyone acts like you just instantly start fighting but we are happy as could be. :)
