1 year ago today I found out my world, life, and family was about to change. After many many years of trying, disappointment, and a miscarriage we found out we were pregnant. I woke up that morning, the day before I was to get my period to test and make sure it was negative to get my fertility meds. I peed on the stick and within seconds it came up positive...I was in shock and couldn't speak and I just handed my husband the test with tears in my eyes...I couldn't believe it! I tested again the next day and again didn't believe it so I went to my dr and again tested positive! now my peanut is 4 months old and I still can't believe she is here and that we are her parents...we are truly blessed to have are little family! for those who are have trouble trying to conceive, don't give up...I wanted to month after month but I knew being a mom was something I wanted even before I met my husband...and Charlotte was and is definitely worth the long wait.

@berkleeezra, I couldn't agree more with you. for years I didn't think it would happen that we would never have children and for 2 people we wanted kids so badly it was the most difficult thing to go through, my husband being a kid at heart wanted kids so bad. when I found out we were pregnant it was was a miricle...I enjoyed my pregnancy with all the pains and over all it went smooth but I'm diabetic so it was a challenge to keep my sugars lower, but I did it because I wanted her to be healthy. I'm enjoying every second of being a mom even the late nights lol...she will grow up knowing how much we love her and how much we wanted her and I told my husband if we can't have anymore that its ok because we were blessed with her. congratulations to you as well...enjoy everything because time just flies by!

Your story is so much like mine! I was told me conceiving wasn't going to be possible. And I went thru the roller coaster like you did. Our daughters are such blessings... and sometimes I wish some mom's knew what it felt like to think having a beautiful child wasn't in the cards, so they could appreciate every second, even the hardest. I see alot of women take alot for granted, and if they only knew what it felt like to go thru all we did.
