If you're going to breastfeed, the boppy pillow is a lifesaver!

Chapstick !!! Comfy pajamas/robe, nursing tank tops, socks& slippers, coming home outfit comfy, toiletries....for baby all you should need is a coming home outfit and maybe some nb & 0-3 month clothes...if you want to use specific bottles or pacis you'll want those the hospital provides all the essentials (I recommend to hide the diapers away and ask for more every so often and then you'll have a bunch extra to take home😉)

i got induced so i probably had a few extra, i was in there for 5 days.

for me I packed

robe, slippers, nightgown, pj pants , shorts , tshirt, going home outfit, book, phone charger, camera, toothbrush+paste, shampoo, conditioner , bodywash , lufa, brush, hair ties, head band, pads (hospital pads are so uncomfortable ) I also packed mad libs, something to do to pass time my husband and his family love that .

for baby I packed,

binkies, I didn't want to use the hospital ones , I didn't want to confuse the baby, receiving blankets (2) a newborn long sleeve outfit & short sleeve outfit , a 0-3 month long sleeve and short sleeve outfit, hat's (2) mittens (2) socks /booties (2) I'm pretty sure that's it. the hospital gives you everything else.
