Are prenatal vitamins absolutely necessary ? What risk could I be taking by not taking them ?

If you get enough to make a healthy baby on your own, you can go without. But not many people can. It's best to take them. If you don't you need to make sure you're getting everything right 👌🏼

I honestly keep taking them after I give birth and everything... It takes a lot out of you to carry a child and breastfeed. Good for hair and nails too

Alrighty, it never fails that i throw them up anywhere from 15-30 minutes after i take them & I've already been on 4 different ones. It just something that has to be done I see, but I am curious do you guys think that they're still effective with me throwing them up daily ?

i hear alot of positive things about them, but unfortunately for me all i do is throw them up ! @cameryn_cameronsmom2016. i will definitely ask my doctor about the drink. i haven't been taking my prenatals for almost a week, so i figured i would ask because i just feel like im stealing from my baby

I bought postnatal pills from target , they have a higher dose of all the vitamins to support breastfeeding and getting the nutrients to the baby.

@danamarie, my doctor said the same thing about eating but nope it just makes the throw up worst lol. & i was taking the oneday gummy prenatal vitamins, still sick. Oh well, if i have to be sick for my baby to develop properly and be healthy then i will. Ultimately my sickness is temporary while development issues or health issues for her could form and last lord knows how long ! It would be selfish for me not to take them.

What about getting a pill cutter and splitting them in two ?

I was the same way..tried like 6 different pre natal they all made me sick. I finally found some called vitafol ultra, it's something your doctor can prescribe. you should ask for them.

Prenatal pills make me sick and did for all my pregnancies , my doctor always prescribes me flinstones vitamins 2 a day it works just the same and I do y get sick I even like the children's gummy vitamins I buy for my daughter

I use to throw mine up in early pregnancy @mommytoaz Ever since then I've taken the gummy kind. Right now I have spring valley. Then I take them at night. They work great. They don't have iron in them and I believe that's what made me sick.

I take the gummy ones, taste like candy. I purchase at Walmart.

I loved the gummy.ones then they started making me sick also. I hope the vitafol helps you!
