Has anyone else heard of having to pay for a gender sono even though they scheduled me for it at the doctors office?

My dr just billed me for my anatomy scan and I'm gonna go talk to them about it because I was sure Medicaid paid for it yet o have a bill for almost 300$
Do any of you ladies go to womens care Florida? Hey told me once we find out what it is at like 24-28 weeks I have to pay 250 if it's a boy for circumcision but once they send it to insurance we will get he money back, at least with the 50 if the baby is being stubborn and can't see the gender they give u the money back
Oh ok I just never have heard anything like that before, so that's what I asked I'm 17 weeks and 1 day and scheduled my appointment on the day they gave me so that's why I didn't try to find out earlier
In order to find out early at my doctors office you have to pay for it yourself. I paid $50 in order to find out at 16 weeks because it's voluntary and insurance doesn't cover that. If you wait til your anatomy scan at 20 weeks it'll be free.
Yes 👋 for me they did! My doctors office has its own ultra sound place which I never got charged for. My first ultrasound at 7 weeks was all done at the office. My doc sends all her patients to a high risk ultrasound place for the second gender reveal part to see if everything is good. Cause all there picture quality are much better. Anyways I had to pay 50 for that 😒 I never had to go again and pay it was just that one time
I have insurance but my doctor office said they would schedule me four weeks from the day and so my appt is July 21 well they called and said I have to pay 50 since for gender sono they don't send that to insurance @babykeysmommy2u

Yeah insurance def should have covered that
