They can give you meds to try to help. They helped me get from a 1 to 4 but no where else 😑

@ak16, my mother does not dilate so I won't be surprised if I don't either but hopefully I do

But all you can do is try just try not to completely shut it out so you don't get too disappointed if everything doesn't go as planned but hopefully it will 😊

My mom had to have c-sections and I tried to have normal birth with my first but I wouldn't get passed a four my body just couldn't, (same with my mom) I think we are just too small none wise and with my second I had a c section for safety reasons but it's not that bad. I like having them, knowing they will be ok and won't be in stress.
@franchesca, I definitely understand being worried, everything about childbirth is nerve wracking.

@franchesca yes ma'am I was hoping for a VBAC but my body had other plans. I have a placenta previa(completely covering my cervix) so I have to have another c section. this was my first time ever hearing of a placenta previa so you never know what your body have in store for you. you can plan a vaginal birth but if emergencies comes up you have to do what's best for you and baby.

@ak16, thank you I really just want to break the long chain of c sections but let's see what happens in December

@klachappelle, thanks for the advice I am worried because in my whole family only one person gave birth naturally

@dollfacenanii, thank you i always try to walk but then again it's unpredictable but I will do all I can
@dollfacenanii, I stayed active during my pregnancy and I had a CS with my daughter, she was positioned wrong and I apparently have a narrow pelvis which isn't made for vaginal births.

I agree with @klachappelle you can plan and hope all you want to you never know how your baby or body is going to be at that time

there's nothing you really can do to avoid a c section bc anything can happen during labor
I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Things I never thought I'd say... Until I became a mom:
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@franchesca, my mother didn't dilate either and my grandmother had CS too but everyone is different I had a vaginal birth, I was so worried I wouldn't and couldn't dilate and I didn't really do anything out of the way either though to have it but I pray your future delivery will go smoothly !
