Im really not that into vaccinations... I dont even get the flu shot and the doc wants me to get the Tdap shot and my mom never had it with my sis or me and my cousin did t have it with her now 4 year old... Is it necessary or can i opt to not have it??
im not super into vaccines either but just to be safe foe baby I got, my husband got it, N our toddler.
Also please remember if none of your family members have had it and they go out and come back with the virus the baby can still get it from just interacting with them. It's just not worth the risk.
The tdap during pregnancy is fairly new I didn't have it for my older 3 but this one and my 8 year old I did they recommend because of the big come back whooping cough made over the past 10 or so years they do not have a vaccination for this and by getting the tdap during pregnancy it passes antibodies against it to baby , my niece had whooping cough also know as pertussis it's an awful thing for your child to get and can be deadly I recommend getting it
I opted out of all vaccines. Most inserts say to not give to pregnant women because it comes with risk.
I agree with all the mommas. It's not worth you're child's life to not get a vaccine. Unless never going out in public is an option for you (only way to guarantee no sick people are in a grocery store, park, mall, etc.)
I opted out today my friend didn't have it either. Her son is fine you just have to make sure u don't let any sick people around your baby. I just don't feel right about getting vaccinated while pregnant but hey to each its own
I just got my TDAP shot today because of how many babies are now getting pertussis before 2 months old. And it can end in death for infants. I did however opt out of the flu shot.
The d-tap is important to get especially your SO or whoever will be taking care of your baby whooping cough is deadly to little babies as well as an adult can spread it to your child
Whooping cough was never as prevalent as it is now. Some people are against vaccines like the flu shot , but the TDAP protects not just you, but your baby as well from the illness
Well only reason im nervous about any vaccination is cause i have TBAR syndrome. Example: if i get flu shot i am paralyzed for 2 to 5 days after. same as rest of my family so getting this is just scary to me. My husband gets everything since he is military he has no choice but im just nervous of the what ifs with something simple as the flu shot paralyzes me...
