So my baby boy is 8 days old today and we've been home from the hospital for 5 days now. My hubby took off most of the week and has been doing mostly everything around the house, the shopping, everything. I know I need rest and to heal but I'm actually finding it frustrating that I can't just jump back into my regular routine. We have a 5 year old also and I almost feel guilty that I'm just laying around not tending to him as much. I was given orders to REST these first few weeks but...idk. I'm just used to being Supermom so even though I am tired I'm just finding it difficult to not be able to do my little daily routine yet. 😔 I guess I'll just enjoy getting to know my little munchkin and accept my hubby's help. I'm sure in a few months I'll be begging for this downtime! 😩

You couldn't find a babysitter?!

You couldn't find a babysitter?! Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyway. Am I the only one? Is that a weird thing to do? Do most moms find babysitters?

I've been seeing so many negative posts/comments (not on this app as much but on a lot of others) and I just felt the need to put something positive out there. I'm a graphic designer and some of you may have seen this graphic before that I made with my baby girls first and middle name. I got a decent amount of good feedback from it so I figured I'd share my talent and make some for you guys! So if you'd like me to make one for you just comment with your baby's first and middle name and gender and I'll make one for you too! (and bare with me, I have a meeting around noon so I won't be on the app during that time so it may take a little longer) but I'll try and get them all made today and I'll post them in the comments and tag you once I'm finished. ♡
