I was induced at 10pm on a Tuesday, they used cervidil to get me moving. I progressed faster than they expected. By 4am I was at 6cm and was in a lot of pain. They gave me some pain meds that made me loopy and I slept for about an hour. I woke up with even worse contractions, one on top of the other, and when they checked me I was at 7cms. They gave me my epidural and by 8:30 I was at 10cms. I had to wait until 9 when my doctor came in, broke my water and by 9:55am my son was here. It's all an experience that I'll never forget. It's so surreal.
