advice please... I don't normally do this but I need help.

since baby has started moving, I always shout to my hubby to look! I say it very excited, because its so cool and just unbelievable. he's either on his phone or even if he's not, he just glimpses over with a blank face, doesn't say a word and continues doing what he's doing.

I've confronted him so many times and always ends in argument. he says he cares but his actions show differently. he knows it upsets me but continues to do it.

I'm beyond upset about his reactions and he obviously doesn't give a crap how I feel. and it's just depressing and all I want to do is cry. we have our miracle baby and I just want him to be excited.

he is a great husband, but he never shows emotion to this and its killing me inside. I'm lost.... what would y'all do? talking to him about it gets me.no where.

my husband does this too. every time Riley moves I'll tell him to feel and if he actually does it's for two seconds and then he walks away saying he couldn't feel him.

My husband was kind of like that to when I was pregnant, everytime she moved I made him feel, I think he got tired of just feeling the same thing over and over but now they are like inseperable and the first time she went from tummy time to sitting up on her own (within 2 weeks of learning to sit up on her own) he was bummed out he didn't get to see it, if he's a first time dad it takes a lot for them to adjust and just be patient with him, it will probably be more stressful at first when baby gets here cause they will be scared they will "break them" just remember, be patient and they will come around, now since my husband works overnight is their routine where he feeds her dinner, bathes her and puts her to bed.

I think my husband is a little more emotional than most. That being said, I feel like I am bothering him when I tell him to feel my stomach and he just humors me. He's never shoes excitement about. However, I know he is happy to become a father. I think guys can't experience what we feel inside. I think they will be able to bond when the baby comes. Don't give up on him yet!

thanks ladies. it's just really tough. he shows no emotion and it kills me. almost makes me feel like I shouldn't be excited. I just hate it

My husband does it too it's just a guy thing. Most guys don't really like to show their feelings. Don't worry when time comes he'll show some emotion when baby gets here. I know my husband will every now and then it slips and I can see how excited he is especially if we get something for our daughter and he has to put it together he just can't wait and when he puts her things together he actually takes his time and reads the instructions (never does that) and makes sure it's perfect

Oh my gosh, my man is the SAME WAY! 😫 But don't worry momma, I'm sure he is really happy about y'all's miracle. Once that baby is here in your guy's arms, he will fall in love! ☺️❤️ I get upset too when my man does this, don't get too upset though momma! ✊🏼💕 Your husband and the baby will connect once he/she is here. No worries love.

It just depends on the man . My S/O was distant at first when he first found out I was pregnant . But now he's excited and talks to Micah . When Micah's moves he puts his hand on my stomach and gets excited that he moves . All men are different tho . My S/O is more emotional . Lol . Sometimes Micah will only move when his daddy talks to him . Just depends ..

my bf was kind of the same way, he wasn't interested until his movement became big nd even then It was sometimes... but when I gave birth I was a whole different story, he wouldn't put him down. they say a mother becomes a mother when she finds out she's pregnant, nd a father becomes a father when he sees his baby...I guess it's somewhat true.

Men aren't as connected to the pregnancy and often don't get super excited about movements and stuff until late in the pregnancy "a women becomes a mommy when her child is conceived but a man becomes a daddy the moment he sees and holds his child"

men don't connect to the baby while in the stomach like we do. even women have a hard time. once the baby is born that will change. you just have to get through the emotional hurdles that the hormones influence. men don't want to know what it's like to be pregnant, they don't mind that we are doing the work. so just keep that in mind and know that you are creating a life within you. and when that life is born, your husband will find that connection once he gets to hold him or her.

my husband was the exact same way. I'd try to get him to feel her move, he'd put his hand on my belly for maybe 5 seconds, then if she didn't move he'd be like "oh well." I never was able to resolve this. we always argued about it as well. now that she is here he's a pretty okay dad. I guess men just aren't as fascinated about it as we are. I know that doesn't make it any easier ):
