his right eye is pretty swollen.. it looks red and irritated. I've been watching it, I put a cloth with water on it n rubbed it n it sorta looks like it's getting worse.. any idea what's weong? debating if I should go to the er or not. he's a day old....

It's totally normal. They get beat up coming out. Don't worry 😀
but since he is just a day old the swelling is totally normal I just had my 2nd kid 2 weeks ago and her eyes were pretty swollen the first few days
It's not silly at all, just squeeze your nipple over his eye and even the littlest drop might help
Yeah I am but this may be a silly question but how do I get a drop out. I don't have a pump n i dont think I produce that much for it to just drop out right now. @jenii
my daughter's eyes were pretty swollen for a few days too if it lasts more than a week I'd worry
Are u breastfeeding? if you are you can put a drop of milk in his eye it might help I know it helps with pink eye and a few other things
