Have any BFing mommies had issues with milk sensitivity? My son is lactose but and now she's showing similar signs like spitting up entire meals fussing while eating disturbed sleeping. I feel like I failed her especially if I have to stop BFing her. Any advice will due
@queeneden, Thank you I feel like shit about it to be honest, her doctor said lactose intolerance is also hereditary something about a mutated gene idk I just want her to feel better
@kainesmadre, I'm waiting on him to call back. I thought it was cluster feeding too til she stopped wanting to eat as much
If she's gassy, I'm pretty sure it's something in your diet. Babies are naturally OK with breastmilk unless it's something you're eating that is upsetting her. I'd do more research than the list you currently have. Even things on there can upset her stomach. Each baby is different so it's trial and error until you can pinpoint what it is. I would hate for your to switch to formula if you don't have to.
maybe you should call doc? cause that seems weird how old is she? could she be cluster feeding?
@squeakpipsmommy0607, really? Does he fell better now when he eats? I almost cried cuz I feel so bad. She seems so miserable when I feel her and she farts non stop immediately after feedings
@kainesmadre, I burp her after each ounce top 2 ounces. She used to eat about 3 to 5 ounces a feeding now she'll only eat one spit up fall asleep for 10 minutes and wake back up. She's even fussing during feedings. I pump and latch. I thought it was something I'd ate so I thawed out milk I pumped from when she was first born and the spit that up last night too.
I know when my son was smaller he would fuss & it was because he needed to be burped he never spit up entire meals but if he ate to much he'd spit up quite a bit of milk
she might be eating to much do you pump or do you latch?? do you burp her often? some babies need to be burped more often.
she might just be lactose you said your son is too? it might just run in the family...
Here's a place to start. ссылка
I switched to formula I think Jaden has the same going to the doctor son to find out for sure
Before you stop all together, look into the elimination diet. She may be sensitive to certain foods in your diet and removing them can possibly solve the problem.
So I'm thinking of baby girl names , because I pray that baby number two is a girl 👑
My son's name is Eli & I would like for her to have an "E" name like my son.
So far I have three I like
Elle
Eva
Eliza
Short, simple and unique 😍 Any more you ladies can think of besides Elizabeth lol ?
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
3 month old bleeding monthly
So I have no clue if this is normal or if I should be worried. Of course I am a little worried anyways but my 3 month old baby girl has had pink blood in her diaper atleast one day each month. It's like a little pink streak. I know her bleeding that first month is normal but every month? It's like she has a mini period/spotting. I would call her doctor but the only working phone we own is my husbands and he's at work. This is the 3rd month it's happened and I'm a li...
I started feeling down cause baby girl won't be breastfed. Kinda feel like I'm failing her. Any advice?
@kainesmadre, She's almost 5 weeks
