It breaks my heart to say... That our next door neighbors dog passed away in my father-in-law's arms today because of the outrageous heat & malnutrition. Let me say this... We have taken care of all the dogs over there for quite awhile now (AS MUCH AS WE COULD WITHOUT THE OWNERS GETTING ANGRY FOR US HELPING), called the animal control numerous times & sat and watched day by day as the owners never would show up to even feed much less care & love for all the dogs. The bull dogs were basically piled up in a cage together and 3 were locked outside of the fence while 2 of the 3 wondered around the neighborhood never hurting a soul, only wanting love, food and craving affection, with all having their ribs showing. The dog locked on the chain outside the fence was the mom and the chain was so large and heavy it amazes me how she could lift her neck. My father-in-law would give them water daily and feed them as much as he could being as we all have 6 dogs in total of our own to take care of & not to mention once again the neighbors would get angry. Yesterday he even gave them all a full bag of dog food and every single one of them ate every bit. I don't know which makes me more frustrated and angry... The fact that the owners were so neglectful & angered by our willingness to help or the fact that it took a innocent dog to lose her life so the animal control would finally do something about it. Please I beg of you, if you don't intend on loving and taking care of your animals & find it "to much of a hassle" give them to a family that would. Even after being locked up for almost a year those dogs were just as loving as could be. Just imagine what an amazing family member they soon will be to their special family. And if you see an animal being abused or neglected don't be afraid to speak up! They need a voice too! 💔

That is so sad! I love my pug so much can't imagine how people can be so neglectful and cruel
@tavarusmommy21, We called constantly and they would come out, look around, then leave. it's like they were lazy to do anything. & that's amazing how you did that at that young of an age. most people are scared to speak up, even adults.
@trh.xoxo, oh thats good! Cuz Ive heard so many stories were the damn owners try to blame shit on others or saying its not their dog etc when something bad happens or their dogs bit someone..
@maxs_mommy80, they took all the dogs and the man said he knew we did as much as we could because we called constantly and took pictures and everything so our neighbors wouldn't try to pull some crap on us. @bryawna13 thank you & I know. People today need a serious wake up call. @kris2012 karma will definitely catch up with them! & yes he is a very good man.
you're welcome and yeah I don't understand that either! I hate it. they have needs and feelings too! they really need to do something major about this like see if they have had animal control called on them before just something to help make sure the animals are going to a good home! we had that happen. the pitbulls we used to have next door were so sweet..I was only like 7 and the owners left them there for a month alone. so I'd hop the wall and give them our dog food and eater everyday for a week and then when I noticed the family was really gone we called animal control and they took them away before they got super skinny or anything. I called on my own at 7 lol
I could not imagine my dogs living outside... im shocked animal control didn't do anything.. Karma! hopefully sooner then later!!... and your father in law is a good man at the very least that poor dog felt love before it pasted.

Ooh thats so sad. Some ppl just not made for having pets. I bet the owner is gonna blame u guys for feeding them and make up some shitty story to cover up his ass. They should take all the dogs away from them.
@tavarusmommy21, thank you. it's so irritating whenever I see animals being neglected. why have animals if you don't intend on taking care of them? just why? it's ridiculous. I couldn't imagine doing my dogs the way they have done theirs. It makes me cry, my father-in-law even teared up.
I don't know, & I just can't get over the fact that they were so angered by us helping and then the animal control not doing a thing about it until one lost it's life. 😢 @bryawna13
that's so sad! I really love animals it breaks my heart to see them.neglected! I feel bad I can't spend much time with my dogs since having a baby but there's a lot of people in my house that do and they always have food and everything..so I can't even imagine doing that..how can anyone hurt animals? he did a good thing though! shame on the animal control! you are good people helping the dogs. some people don't deserve animals! they are in that category!

that's really sad and a shame on their part! & yeah I always loved animals and wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger 😊 I just hated seeing the dogs go hungry so I knew I needed to do that haha! yeah my mom was like no don't..I was like okay. so I took the phone book and then called lol. I knew even then what they were doing was wrong.
