my baby loves baths

@sarabrewer04 sadly i don't have a choice my doc doesn't feel comfortable giving me an epidural because of the damage it can cause but thats a good idea

I would say if you plan to go all natural labor most of the day at home. Being stuck to a hospital bed makes those pains seem 10 times worse. And when u are at home you can get in and out of the tub or shower or whatever helps you get through those pains

maybe im over thinking it with everyones horror stories about how i will be in labor 17+ hours

I had a natural birth with my second child. It's true that you're in your own world and you just focus on having the baby. Breathing techniques and squatting helped for me. I labored mostly at home then went to the hospital. 3-4 pushes and he was out. It's amazing how our bodies push on their own to get the baby out when the time comes. You'll do an amazing job ☺

i was shot in my back about 7 years back right by my spine where the epidural would go. I have 3 cracked vertebrates & herniated discs and my ob said if i had an epidural id probably be paralyzed 😣

It hurts, but manageable. Like @yummycake, said you kind of go into your own world and nothing matters but getting your baby out nice and healthy! Can I ask why you have to have an all natural birth?

I was freaked out to but then I read some positive affirmations and just know Your body is made for this, your body knows what to do, every female animal does it, its natural, its a miracle. no worries just think about how good our medical care is in this day and age

yeah i understand u because i freak myself out sometimes. but try not to think about it. it something that when ur in pain from labor ur body adapts and starts giving u a drive...u get into a zone..where your ready to withstand pain just to see ur baby healthy.
