It really surprises me how many times I see people talking about how they wish they'd 'go into labor already', and are trying different ways to have the baby when they are hardly into 30+ weeks. (Not just here, but Facebook, and people in real life also...) I mean, why would you be actually wanting your child to arrive when you're only 34-36 weeks along? Let baby cook! Put down the primrose and caster oil and let that baby grow in the safest place - your belly! What's three - four more weeks when you have the rest of your life time with that precious baby? 😊❤️

omggggg. she lied just to do it ?!!! thats beyond fucked up. now stuff like that is just plain being stupid. i worked in a tanning salon and a factory with ovens where temps reached 100+ degrees. and yeah i was hot but i didnt do anything like that. i walked and ate pineapples ans had sex. but thats as far as im going with trying to prepare my daughter for labor. she needs to get it together smh @jennatess

@kiicarnelly, that's exactly what I'm saying. But, it should be a doctors choice to induce 10 weeks early.

I understand it both ways but every mother and situation are different... I pass judgement on no one because what might be an easy 10 weeks left for one mom can be filled with pain and agony for another... Either way we are all MOM'S and have endured so much along this process...

I totally understand girl! I am 36 weeks tomorrow and as much as I want my baby here and am in soooo much pain it scares me to think I could already be getting ready for labor. I want my little girl to come when she is ready not early. Her health is so much more important than me being in pain or uncomfortable

@boymama, I told my doctor about how my sister would be out here (from Illinois to California.) while I'm 40-41 weeks. He said, "don't even finish your sentence..you're fine, I love that your sister is being supportive and flying in, but we are NOT going to induce until you're 42 weeks. Believe me, you don't even deal with that Pitocin.." Haha

@ivelissesmommy, like I said in previous comments to the other moms above. If ones doctor thinks it's time, then it's time! But, I have this girl on Facebook that I work with posting how she's "fact, and hot, and just ready to meet this baby", and she's only 36 weeks! She posted about how she went to go do acupuncture to induce labor and LIED to the acupuncturist and told her she was past 40 weeks. That's the topic I'm trying to discuss. That's just ridiculous. I'm just as hot and fat (if not fatter 😅) than the next girl, but, I'm not about to try to induce for that reason alone, ya know?

well yeah i def agree with you there. i asked about castor oil last week but my mama instincts made me know better to even try that. @jennatess

@ivelissesmommy, if it's a matter of life and death, and multiple hospitalizations, then the DOCTOR should induce. Not the mom, at home, trying out all these different ways just because they are ready to have the baby out. I'm only judging these people who decided they are just "too hot, as tired" and try to induce at 30+ weeks. That's 10 weeks early.

@kirstennmayo, curious of course. I had never even heard of Prime Rose Oil before a few days ago, and didn't know if it was an actual oil or a pill or even what it did. 😊

i think every pregnancy is different. so for you to judge someone on them wanting their baby out at 30+ weeks is kind of ridiculous. ive said multiple times i want my baby out of me because ive been hospitalized twice with kidney infections and am down right miserable. would i want my daughter born with health problems? no. and im 100% sure any other mom that says they want their baby to come out doesnt wish harm on their baby either. doesnt stop us from wishing. every pregnancy is different. so be blessed yours is easy enough for you to wanna stay pregnant 40+ weeks. some of ours arent as easy.

it's OK of u have a baby at 36 weeks because when u have a cerclage they take ur stiches out at 36 weeks n u can go in labor right after ...so if 36 was that bad they would wait longer

Didn't you just post about castor and primrose oil? Or were you just 'curious'? Lol..

@jennatess, you have the right mindset, I also think the reason so many women end up with c sections is because they induce too early and their bodies don't progress naturally (just an opinion) but I've had two completely natural births and progressed just fine... Doctors need to go back to being natural and not just giving in to impatient uncomfortable mamas!

@boymama, I'm already afraid of loosing my shit on the table (pun intended 😁) , I'm not about that diarrhea life! 🙅🏼. But, really! I'm 39 weeks tomorrow, and I had a friend just text me "where's that baby girl?!", I said, "goodly still a week away!" Haha.

Maybe it's that they say they want to have them early bc of there pain but not actually mean it. I say I wish my daughter was born right now but I only say it bc of the pain I feel then after I say I wish she would be born already I say that I just want her to stay in side me for as long as she needs too even though I am in pain all the time. I want my baby to be full term when I say I wish she would be born already I pretty much mean I wish time would go by quicker so she could be here when I am full term or beyond. Idk that's just me though. Maybe the other woman are not educated enough about the risks of having there baby early? Idk.

The castor oil thing is ridiculous to me... Have fun with your explosive diarrhea haha. Also they have changed what is considered to be full term to 39 weeks, people just need to calm down and let these babies come when they are ready

@kimberlyyyy, yeah! That's what I just said to the girls above. I totally, 100% if the doctor needs to induce. But, half these people are taking it into their own hands and trying to bring on labor for the hell of it. I'm like, noooooo. Stop! It's five more weeks! Just hang on! Haha

@mariceladez, right?! This girl I work with just posted on Facebook asking if walking/swimming and an exercise ball will help her go into labor? She only 36 weeks! She's "hot, and fat, and just ready to meet this baby." Ughhhh.

@jortiz1290, @boymama I'm thinking the sameeee thing! I would rather have her at 40/42 weeks than 37/38 anyyy day! I want her to be as healthy as possible. I feel half these people are just "over it" and not really thinking things through. Now, I TOTALLY understand it that baby needs to come out for health reasons, BUT, then the doctor should be inducing, not telling you to go take Caster Oil or try to bring on labor on your own.

I don't remember it, but according to Timehop my doctors wanted to induce me early but I demanded they induce me on my due date instead.... My son was born weighing 5lbs 11oz, I can't imagine if I had been induced a week earlier than needed. But yeah I have seen A LOT of posts about naturally inducing labor, being uncomfortable and wanting to be done at 30 something weeks. I don't remember being miserable with my first, I just knew I wanted to meet him!!!! Seriously ladies, let those kiddos cook as long as need be!

I completely agree! I hope my baby stays in until 40 weeks. Unless you have a medical condition you should want your baby to come natural when they are ready.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼agree. My first was two weeks overdue and I still let him come natural... Yes this is uncomfortable, but it's nice to have your child's lungs and brain fully developed
