At my appointment today I signed the Tubal Ligation papers. I'm having a scheduled c-section in September and I can't help but feel a little bittersweet about it. I'm positive we are done having babies. This baby will make 4, I have my 2 stepsons, my daughter and this little guy that I'm pregnant with. My baby making days will be gone, which is the hard part, but it will be nice to not have to worry about pills, IUDs or any of that stuff.

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I'm doing the same thing. I am pregnant with my 3rd boy and my husband and I have decided that our family is complete. It is for sure a bittersweet since it is a permanent solution but it is also reassuring. I am getting my tubes tied during my csection too.
